To those who have received the "Notification of Arrival of Registered Mail Requiring Personal Delivery"
The Life Data Initiative, a general incorporated association, and NTT Data Corporation are currently sending out notices regarding "Sennen Karte" to everyone via registered mail requiring recipient identification.
This is not a commonly used postal method, so some of you may be confused, but we are sending it via registered mail requiring recipient's signature to ensure that the message reaches the intended recipient. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please note that unless you contact us directly regarding this matter, neither Life Data Initiative nor NTT Data will contact you by phone.
Please be extremely careful of "special fraud" schemes and other scams that use this matter as a pretext.
The document I sent you is here.
What to do if you receive a "Notification of Arrival of Registered Mail Requiring Personal Recipient Only"
Similar to a delivery notice, you can request to pick up the package at the post office or have it delivered.
To receive the package, you will need the "Notification of Arrival of Registered Mail Requiring Personal Recipient" and a "Government-issued Identification Document."
Examples of official identification documents: driver's license, passport (with a section for holder's information and address), My Number Card, health insurance card, etc.
<If the person in question has moved and a family member receives the notification>
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please call the inquiry number at the end of this document. We will explain the details after verifying your identity. When you contact us, please have the tracking number listed on the "Notification of Arrival of Registered Mail Requiring Personal Recipient" ready, as we will need to provide it to you.
<If the person is a young child>
You will be able to receive the package by presenting your child's health insurance card or other relevant documents. Alternatively, if you would like to call the contact number listed at the end of this document, we will verify your identity and then explain the details to you. When you contact us, please have the tracking number listed on the "Notification of Arrival of Registered Mail Requiring Personal Recipient" ready, as we will need to provide it to you.
