Security basic policy
The Life Data Initiative (hereinafter referred to as "the corporation") protects the information assets of customers, etc. handled in business and the information assets of the corporation from various threats, and fulfills the social mission as a general incorporated association. We have established basic policies, rules regarding the handling of information assets, basic rules for personal information protection, and other related rules and regulations (collectively referred to as "information security policies"), and will implement the following efforts.
We will take all possible security measures for information assets such as customers we handle in our business, and will always give top priority to prevent risks such as loss, destruction, falsification and leakage.
We will implement appropriate security measures according to the importance of our information assets while making the best use of them.
As an organization related to information security, we appoint a person in charge of information security management within the organization, and implement, operate and promote security measures for information assets through a company-wide organizational structure.
We will continue to provide education and enlightenment on information security to officers and employees, and strive to thoroughly disseminate the information security policy. All officers and employees who handle information assets comply with the information security policy and fulfill the obligations and responsibilities stipulated therein.
In consideration of technological progress and changes in the business environment, we continuously carry out risk assessments of information assets from various fields and reflect them in our information security policy and various measures based on it. We will maintain and improve security.
We will comply with the Personal Information Protection Law and the Next Generation Medical Infrastructure Law as laws related to information security, and also comply with other norms including general laws.
Our corporation may revise the basic information security policy so that personal information protection is effectively implemented. We will inform you about the revision of the basic information security policy by posting it on this page.
